• Heavier challenge with Metroid‑style progression
  No early sword; many items are needed to reach new areas. Dungeons are interdependent—going back and forth is required as new gear unlocks previously unreachable spots 

• Graphical and audio enhancements
  Retains the feel of the NES classic but enriches it with new color palettes, tilesets, and some sprite/AI swaps (e.g., Goriyas appear in the overworld, Moblins in dungeons)
